Al-Watania Poultry Increases Its Exports to Sudan
Al-Watania Co, the biggest poultry producer
company in the Middle East and one of the largest companies in the poultry
field at the world level announced a remarkable export increase of frozen
chicken to the sister country of Sudan, from 20 metric ton to 60 metric tons
per month. This announcement came after Al-Watania Co. opened a new marketing
opportunity in Sudan.
In
this occasion, Al-Watania Co. General Manager Khalid Al-Rajhi confirmed that
Al-Watania Poultry products has gained wide and distinguished response and
interest in Sudan which is considered a promising market with a population of
about 28 million persons and an important gate to the other African countries.
“ We are monitoring closely this new market and looking forward to increase our
exports to Sudan to 120 metric tons/ month in the near future” Al-Rajhi Said.
He
further explained that Al-Watania Poultry exports 20% of its products to the
GCC States and it is endeavoring constantly to explore new markets. “ Presently
we are studying potentials of expanding our exports to new markets in Asia,
Africa and Europe” Al-Rajhi said.
